Providing you with family-like support and lending you the tools you need to integrate into society because we care
Habilitation-Group Home (HAB)
Monarch Valley Care Home’s group homes are residences situated within a neighborhood and intended to serve children or adults with special needs with support. Usually, our homes have four or fewer residents and are staffed 24 hours a day. These living arrangements provide coaching in social integration skills, development of personal care skills, counseling for health care, and behavioral consultation. Through state licensing authorities, our group homes are licensed and registered.
Habilitation Hourly (HAH)
Through our Hourly Habilitation Program, Monarch Valley is proud to provide members and their families who live at home or on their own with a selection of valuable resources to give them a more healthy and structured life. The aim we have in this program is to assist and partner in every area of community life to achieve success. Hourly Habilitation is intended to make living individually more convenient for members. Our Habilitation Specialists provide our members with skills training to advance their independence. This service is meant to strengthen social skills, personal hygiene, and other self-help skills of a member in order to preserve their independence. This program offers each member an opportunity to build a sense of integrity and self-worth.
Habilitation-Individually Designed Living Arrangement (HAI)
Our individually designed living arrangements allow a member to live in their own homes or apartments. Our care providers, in close communication with family members/guardians, do as much as they can to teach and develop the member’s self-help skills. In order to maximize the freedom of a member, they provide just enough supervision. It is expected that members living on their own would pay for their own costs, such as housing, electricity, and food. The family and care providers allow the individual to foster valuable skills such as autonomy skills, responsibility skills, socialization skills, and adaptive skills through encouragement and active supervision. For people who need limited assistance and supervision, this living arrangement is convenient and reliable.
